Counts are collected from the `ambient' air, supply air, the air immediately above
gently agitated carpet and furniture to determine the level of possible contamination of the HVAC system
and furnishings. Elevated airborne particle counts are often indicative of airborne contamination due to
fungal or bacterial spores.
• A collection of CO, CO2, total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs), temperature and relative humidity
readings in multiple areas inside the building.
• Observation of accessible HVAC components to include ductwork, returns, condensate lines and drain pans.
• Digital photographs collected of significant findings. These may include, but not be limited to suspect fungal
material, moisture on /in building materials, exterior components, grading, structural components and the
interior of HVAC components.
• Preparation of a Site Audit Report, which includes digital photographs of significant findings Also, included
in the Site Audit report is an IAQ Data sheet that lists air quality data recorded on site in a color -coded
spreadsheet. This report is very useful as a visual tool for analysing the indoor environmental quality of a
building.
• Up to 30 minutes of phone consultation with an Indoor Air Quality Professional regarding the Site Audit
Report.
