Other trail work could be undertaken at Northern Park (Northern Human Services
Center), Little River Park, and potentially at the proposed Erwin Trace parks project among
other sites, as time permits.
The application will request a team for the fall of 2005, but actual deployment will be set and
coordinated by AmeriCorps, It is expected the team would stay six weeks in Orange County,
As in 2002-03, the cost for the County would be the accommodations for the team and a
kitchen area for meal preparation. Camp Chestnut Ridge was the site for accommodations
in 2003, and staff plans to discuss this possibility again with the camp, The team will likely
include 12 members with 1-2 supervisors. Recreation and Parks staff (assisted by ERCD
staff as needed) would be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work,
