Preparation of schematic cost estimates for the proposed design and construction of the EMS facility <br />to include: <br />1. Renovation of existing building to Orange County's proposed program, as well as upgrades to <br />current building code (as required by change of usage to an emergency services facility and new <br />NC Energy Code) <br />Notes <br />• Includes one (1) meeting with Orange County staff to ascertain building program systems analysis <br />and requirements, and to establish the basis of the cost estimates. Our cost analysis of each scenario <br />will include all architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and site improvement <br />systems necessary for successful project permitting, design and construction. Analysis and cost <br />estimates will be professionally stamped by certified engineering professionals. <br />Costing will be based on information included in the Property Condition Assessment report as <br />prepared by 5thWall dated February 5, 2018 <br />B. Deliverable: <br />Schematic cost report summarizing statement of probable design and construction costs comparing <br />the options noted above. <br />C. Assumptions and Exclusions: <br />Schematic level construction cost estimate ( +/- 25 %) is based on current market prices recently <br />received on similar projects.
