45 <br /> <br />The Board approved an amendment to the Personnel Records Retention and Disposition <br />Schedule dated April 15, 2013, and approved by the Board of County Commissioners on <br />December 15, 2015, amending the County Management Records Retention and Disposition <br />Schedule, Item 25, Employee Performance Review File, Agency Policy, to reflect “Agency <br />Policy: Destroy in office after 3 years.” <br />f. Adoption of Triangle J Council of Government’s (TJCOG) Revised Charter Resolution <br />The Board reviewed and adopted TJCOG’s Revised Charter Resolution. <br />g. ISLA, Inc. Lease – 501 W. Franklin Street, Suite 200 <br />The Board approved a two year Lease Agreement with Immersion for Spanish Language <br />Acquisition, Inc. (“ISLA”) for approximately 880 square feet of administrative office space within <br />Suite 200 of the County-owned Bentley Building located at 501 West Franklin Street in Chapel <br />Hill; and authorize the Chair to execute the Resolution for Lease and the Lease Agreement <br />upon final County Attorney review. <br />h. Joining the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy <br />The Board authorized the Chair to sign a letter indicating Orange County’s commitment to the <br />Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy as requested by the Orange County <br />Commission for the Environment. <br />i. Encroachment Agreement for Sidewalk Construction Associated with Sportsplex <br />Facility & Field House <br />The Board approved a Three Party Right of Way Encroachment Agreement regarding a <br />Primary and Secondary road system between the North Carolina Department of Transportation <br />(NCDOT), Orange County, and the Town of Hillsborough; and authorized the Manager to sign <br />the Encroachment Agreement contingent upon County Attorney review and upon Hillsborough’s <br />execution of the Agreement. <br />j. Orange County ABC Board Travel Policy <br />The Board approved the Orange County Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board’s adoption <br />and continued use of Orange County’s travel policy. <br /> <br />9. County Manager’s Report <br />Bonnie Hammersley referred to a memo at the Commissioners’ places about the <br />Southern Library process, and said this is an update. <br /> <br />10. County Attorney’s Report <br />NONE <br /> <br />11. *Appointments <br /> <br />a.
