However, HUD allocated a funding increase of
$111,647 from the anticipated HOME budget advertised on March 13, 2018 and discussed at
the Board’s public hearing held on April 3, 2018. Due to the substantial increase in funding, the
County is holding another public hearing on the use of the additional funds, and staff will
present the revised budget and proposed use of funds to the Board of County Commissioners
for final approval at the Board’s June 19, 2018 meeting.

The public hearing provides an opportunity for the public, public agencies and other interested
parties to provide input as it relates to the revised annual update of the Consolidated Plan and
proposed Annual Action Plan. In addition, the public is asked to comment on the revised
proposed use of FY 2018-2019 Program Year funds.
