14 <br /> <br />• Production of four (4) video PSAs; purchase of branded marketing items, in <br />collaboration of the Cedar Ridge High School Videography Club and numerous <br />community volunteers and OUTBoard members. A list recognizing all Video PSA <br />volunteers is provided in Attachment 1. <br />• Bike rodeo/helmet initiative in collaboration with the Sheriff’s Department; and <br />• The design and installation of road signs in collaboration with the North Carolina <br />Department of Transportation (NCDOT) and the Department of Environment, <br />Agriculture, Parks and Recreation (DEAPR) (for sign installation). <br /> <br />Next Steps <br />• Staff and the BSIS will continue to work on: <br />o The design and production of brochures and posters; <br />o Website design and launch, and <br />o Circulation of the video PSAs. <br />• Attendance at local events will begin on July 1 at the Picnic in the Park at the Farmers’ <br />Market Pavilion in Hillsborough. <br />• The exact date for a Bike Rodeo will be coordinated with the Sheriff’s Department. <br />• Social media ads and posts, and radio ads will be underway by late summer. <br />• Road sign installation will occur in late summer or early fall, following completion of <br />encroachment agreements with NCDOT.
