In this position, I managed grants and personnel. I have also served as a <br />program manager in the non-profit and government sectors. These include, but are not limited <br />to, managing conferences, grant programs, outreach efforts and long-term strategic planning. <br />In addition to the experience listed in the question above, please list the work/volunteer <br />experience/qualifications that would add to your expertise for this board. <br />In addition to the experiences listed in response to the previous questions, I have also <br />participated in the Property and Environment Research Center s Enviropreneur Institute, to <br />explore market opportunities for research conservation. Furthermore, I have taken part in the <br />North Carolina Natural Resources Leadership Institute and learned in-depth dispute resolution, <br />community engagement and natural resources management skills. <br />What do you see as the responsibilities of this board, and what do you hope to <br />accomplish if appointed? <br />To serve the public and the environment of orange county by ensuring that OWASA is providing <br />clean drinking water in a safe and sustainable manner. <br />What is OWASA's role in growth/development issues? <br />OWASA is tasked with ensuring that the water resources of the county can keep pace with <br />growth and development by incorporating new technologies, securing resources and informing <br />relevant entities of the limitations of water supply in the future. <br />19
