I have served as a co-executive director of a non-profit international development organization in Washington, DC. In this position, I managed grants and personnel. I have also served as a program manager in the non-profit and government sectors. These include, but are not limited to, managing conferences, grant programs, outreach efforts and long-term strategic planning. In addition to the experience listed in the question above, please list the work/volunteer experience/qualifications that would add to your expertise for this board. In addition to the experiences listed in response to the previous questions, I have also participated in the Property and Environment Research Center s Enviropreneur Institute, to explore market opportunities for research conservation. Furthermore, I have taken part in the North Carolina Natural Resources Leadership Institute and learned in-depth dispute resolution, community engagement and natural resources management skills. What do you see as the responsibilities of this board, and what do you hope to accomplish if appointed? To serve the public and the environment of orange county by ensuring that OWASA is providing clean drinking water in a safe and sustainable manner. What is OWASA's role in growth/development issues? OWASA is tasked with ensuring that the water resources of the county can keep pace with growth and development by incorporating new technologies, securing resources and informing relevant entities of the limitations of water supply in the future. 19
