<br /> <br />Amended Clean Version <br /> <br />PUBLIC CHARGE <br />The Board of Commissioners pledges its respect to members of the public. The Board asks <br />members of the public to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both with <br />the Board and with fellow members of the public. At any time should any member of the <br />Board or any member of the public fail to observe this public charge, the Chair will take <br />steps to restore order and decorum. Should it become impossible to restore order and <br />continue the meeting, the Chair will recess the meeting until such time that a genuine <br />commitment to this public charge is observed. <br />The BOCC asks that all electronic devices such as cell phones, pagers, and computers <br />should please be turned off or set to silent/vibrate. <br /> <br />Please be kind to everyone. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with this item. <br /> <br />SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal impact associated <br />with this item. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the amendment <br />to the Rules of Procedure for the Board of County Commissioners to revise the Public Charge <br />portion of the Board of Commissioners’ Regular Meeting Agendas. <br />2
