CTC Proposal to Orange County and the Town of Hillsborough April 17, 2018 9 Basis of our Proposal • The project scope consists of an estimated 28.0 route miles of new fiber to interconnect 19 facilities, and includes permitting support for up to two railroad crossings. • CTC’s billing rates are inclusive of all expenses, including travel. • CTC reserves the right to modify roles and responsibilities of personnel upon County project management approval. • Any optional or additional tasking will be authorized by mutual agreement of the County and CTC and will be documented in conjunction with the Scope of Services by a written change order. • CTC can provide services for optional tasks and subtasks for an additional mutually agreed to cost or on a time and materials basis at the following fully burdened hourly rates: Labor Category Rate Director of Engineering $161.88 Director of Business Consulting $161.88 Principal Engineer $152.63 Telecommunications Engineer III $145.00 Telecommunications Engineer II $130.00 Telecommunications Engineer I $115.00 Principal Analyst $165.00 Analyst III $145.00 Analyst II $130.00 Analyst I $115.00 Telecommunications Technician $95.00 Engineer Aide II $70.00 Engineer Aide I $60.00 Senior Inspector $80.00 Staff Inspector $70.00 • County will provide an escort and/or obtain prior permission to enable CTC staff to perform site surveys on municipal and/or private property, where required. • CTC assumes that P.E. stamps and signatures are not required on any of the drawings. If requested, CTC can provide P.E. review and stamps. • CTC and County will develop a mutually agreed-upon list of industry standards that must be met in the project. • Delays to the program schedule by the County, Contractor, or CTC will be brought to the attention of the County’s project manager. 27
