0 <br />FFY 2018 Annual Action Plan <br />Orange County HOME Consortium <br />families with members in modest paying professional careers (such as teachers, <br />service works, and medical assistants), including creating and non- traditional <br />affordable housing options in design (amenities, size, and cost) and that provides for <br />more affordable units and an asset in communities. <br />• Homeless Priority - There is a need for housing and support services for homeless <br />persons, and persons who are at risk of becoming homeless. <br />o HO -3 Prevention and Housing— Continue to support the prevention of homelessness <br />and programs for rapid rehousing. <br />• Administration, Planning, and Management Priority - There is a continuing need for <br />planning, administration, management, and oversight of federal, state, and local funded <br />programs as well as an increase in cooperation and collaboration amongst public and <br />private partners and the communities in :the Consortium in addressing affordable <br />housing, preservation, and development needs of to region that ultimately affect the <br />quality of life for all residents. <br />o AM -1 Overall Coordination Pr vfdejprogram management and oversight for the <br />successful administration :_a leve`ragjlig of Fe eral, State, and local funded <br />programs, including supports of -c�ll borative ,initiatives, research and planning <br />services for special studies, environmentalearance),fair housing, and compliance <br />with all federal, state,I d local laws and .,regulations. <br />. � <br />The greatest needs _for range County HO�ME 1-Artium are housing rehabilitation, <br />homeownership assistance, and Tenant Based Ren'ta)4sistance (TBRA). <br />To meet these i e`eds the- .Consortium funded`fhe'following projects: <br />• Habitat for Humanity - `Second M rtgage Assistance: $60,000.00 <br />• Community Home Trust - Homeownership Assistance: $60,201.00* <br />• EmPOWERment, Inc. - Acquisition: $145,000.00 <br />• Inter -Faith Council for Social Services - TBRA: $25,000.00 <br />• Orange County - Housing Rehabilitation: $49,211.00 <br />• Orange County - County -Wide TBRA: $125,402.00 <br />• Administration: $40,134.00 <br />*Denotes Orange County HOME Consortium's CHDO Set -Aside Project. <br />The revised FFY 2018 Annual Action Plan was on public display beginning Friday, May 18, 2018 <br />through Monday, June 18, 2018.
