The Animal Service Department has received the following additional funds: <br /> <br />• Donations (Spay/Neuter Fund) – receipt of donations totaling $2,520 to be used in <br />agreement with the Spay Neuter Assistance Program of North Carolina to provide one <br />day of subsidized spay and neuter services for barn cats in the County within the <br />Community Spay/Neuter Fund, a Special Revenue Fund outside of the General Fund. <br /> <br />• Donations – receipt of donations totaling $2,893 to be used for a musical enrichment <br />pilot project in the County Animal Shelter. This budget amendment provides for the <br />receipt and appropriation of these donated funds for the above stated purpose. <br /> <br />This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these donated funds. (See Attachment 1, <br />column 1) <br /> <br />SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There are no Orange County Social Justice Goals <br />associated with this item. <br />1
