44 <br /> <br />Commissioner Burroughs said the County is fortunate to have Sherrill Hampton leading 1 <br />this team, and it is delightful to get this type of public feedback on a new initiative. 2 <br />Commissioner Rich agreed. She said the school collaboration meeting involved some 3 <br />discussion about relocating students if the parks are closing, and she said it is so important to 4 <br />share information between all involved entities. 5 <br />Commissioner Price agreed, and said the comprehensive way in which Sherrill Hampton 6 <br />is approaching this issue is wonderful. She thanked Ms. Bane for taking time to share with the 7 <br />Board. 8 <br />Chair Dorosin said Sherrill Hampton has been relentlessly optimistic about this issue. 9 <br />He asked if there is any update about the two families from Homestead that accepted relocation 10 <br />help. 11 <br />Sherrill Hampton said there were three families originally, but one dropped out, and she 12 <br />has not heard back from one. She said she has heard from the last one, and staff has ordered 13 <br />one new home. 14 <br /> 15 <br />b. Millhouse Road Park Affordable Housing Options Feasibility Update – this item 16 <br />addressed above 17 <br /> 18 <br />8. Minutes 33 <br />The Board approved the minutes from May 3, 10 and 15, 2018 as submitted by the Clerk to the 34 <br />Board. 35 <br />b. Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds 36 <br />The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release motor vehicle 37 <br />property tax values for four taxpayers with a total of five bills that will result in a reduction of 38 <br />revenue in accordance with the NCGS. 39 <br />c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds 40 <br />The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release property tax 41 <br />values for thirteen taxpayers with a total of eighteen bills that will result in a reduction of 42 <br />revenue in accordance with North Carolina General Statute 105-381. 43 <br />d. Refund Request – Sports Endeavors, Inc. 44 <br />The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, regarding denial of a 45 <br />refund request submitted by Sports Endeavors, Inc. 46 <br />e. 2018 Amendment to Orange County Records Retention and Disposition Schedule, 47 <br />Standard 11: Personnel Records, Item 25: Employee Performance Review File 48
