To prepare its estimates
and projections, the 2007 -2011 American Community Survey Estimates and the 2010 U.S. Census
were used. This data is the most current information available to assess housing needs, homeless
needs, special needs, social service needs, economic development needs, and other related
needs.
In HUD's assessment of Consortia across the country, those who truly meet the HOME program
goals to address the most pressing affordable housing needs look less at geographic boundaries
OMB Control No: 2506- 0117(exp.07/31/2015) 2
