The motion carried without dissent. <br /> <br />General Public Comments on items not on the agenda: None. <br /> <br />Animal Services Advisory Board: <br />(A) Animal Services Hearing Panel Pool Updates: Bob Marotto reported on three new members to the hearing <br />panel pool, and they are participating in a new training process: video and observe two different hearing <br />(must be different Chairs). When there are gaps in the Ordinance, Chairs are tracking inconsistencies that <br />will be part of the next request for amendment/ revision of the Ordinance. There was ASAB discussion <br />about challenges that keep members of the public from reporting potentially dangerous animals. <br />(B) Vacancies: DeWana Anderson has resigned. There is also a vacancy created by the Ordinance for a member <br />that represents animal supply/ services business person. Bob Marotto will contact the Clerk’s office to <br />solicit applicants. <br /> <br />Old Business: <br /> <br />(A) Free Roaming Cat Spay & Neuter Initiative: Bob Marotto reported that the current plan still includes <br />outreach, something like a voucher for multiple days for mobile surgical van, offer traps, and plan for some <br />transportation. They have a meeting scheduled with OC Cooperative Extension to actively promote it. <br />(B) Pets of the Homeless Task Force: No updates other that the plan to revisit work groups. <br /> <br />(C) Surrendered Suffering Animals: The committee has not met yet. Diane Obeid has worked on a preliminary <br />document defining the problem. There was some discussion about suspected abuse that may be reported <br />at veterinary offices as an example for criteria and resolutions. <br /> <br />New Business:
