Positive outcomes included: <br />i. 251 adoptions (74 percent) <br />ii. 23 reclaims (7 percent) <br />iii. 15 transfers (4 percent) <br />c. Two hundred and eighty-eight (288) animals were admitted <br />d. In total, 586 animals were sheltered <br />i. Cats accounted for 38 of these animals <br />e. Sixty-three (63) animals were adopted as part of Clear the Shelters <br />f. Two hundred and fifty-one adoptions is a new monthly record <br /> <br />2. Working (farm) Cat Initiative <br />a. Redesign as a result of communication with Ag Preservation Board <br />i. Not a single day <br />ii. Coordinated by Animal Services staff like a voucher program <br />iii. Traps and trap instructions provided <br />iv. Resource development for “trappers” and “transporters” <br />b. Outreach to farmers and other rural residents <br />i. Flyer in the works <br />ii.
