DRAFT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Managing Free-Roaming Cats in <br />Orange County, North Carolina <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />January 21, 2015 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Orange County’s Animal Services Advisory Board (ASAB), an advisory body of <br />residents appointed by the County Commissioners, has supported and approved this <br />report. Members of The Free-Roaming Cat Task Force, a subcommittee of the ASAB, <br />and Animal Services staff collaborated to prepare this report. The Task Force consisted <br />of DeWana Anderson, DVM (chair), Judy Miller, Warren Porter, and Aviva Scully. A <br />special thanks to the community members who attended meetings and shared insight, <br />as well as Suzanne Roy, who served as a member of the task force during the early <br />stages of this project. Thanks are also due to Maria Grinshaw, Ellie Nove, and Steven <br />Pray, non-profit Fellows from the UNC-CH Kenan-Flagler Business School, who worked <br />with staff and the task force in this important process. <br /> <br />Comments and questions may be addressed to Robert A.
