FINANCIAL IMPACT: The estimated value of this contract is approximately $9,500. The HUD <br />Partnership Initiative Grant completely covers the cost of the contract. <br />CHICLE will release all rights to the tool to Orange County, and it will be available for use by all <br />County Departments, most particularly those with a Title VI obligation. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: The Manager recommends that the Board: 1) authorize staff to <br />contract with CHICLE in an amount not to exceed $9,500 for developing a Limited English <br />Proficiency Tool in accordance with the attached proposal; and 2) authorize the County <br />Manager to execute the resulting agreement, contingent upon final review by staff and the <br />County Attorney. <br />
