DRUG -FREE WORKPLACE (GRANTEES OTHER THAN INDIVIDUALS) As required by the Drug -Free Workplace Act of 1988, and implemented at 2 CFR Part 182, Subparts B, and C, for grantees: The applicant certifies that it will: a) Make a good faith effort, on a continuing basis, to maintain a drug -free workplace. You must agree to do so as a condition for receiving any award covered by this part. b) Publish a drug -free workplace statement and establish a drug -free awareness program for your employees (see Sections 182.205 through 182.220); and c) Take actions concerning employees who are convicted of violating drug statutes in the workplace (see Section 182.225), including notification to any Federal agency on whose award the convicted employee was working and within 30 days take appropriate personnel action against the employee, up to and including termination, consistent with the requirements of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794), as amended; or require the employee to participate satisfactorily in a drug abuse assistance or rehabilitation program approved for these purposes by a Federal, State or local health, law enforcement, or other appropriate agency. d) You must identify all known workplaces under your Federal awards (see Section 182.230).
