Box 8181 <br />Hillsborough, N.C. 27278 <br />5/17/18 <br />00051718 <br />Structure #3 Trash Rack and Bent <br />Replacement <br />Description <br />Total <br />Location: Sediment Control Structure Pond #3, Hillsborough, N.C. <br />Objective: Replace trash rack; Replace bent support <br />The following services will be performed to accomplish the objective stated above: <br />Trash Rack Replacement <br />$8,060.00 <br />• The existing trash rack on the pond riser will be removed and disposed off -site. <br />• Organic debris will be removed from around the riser as much as possible by hand to facilitate <br />installation and proper drainage. <br />• A new 6' diameter, 2.5' tall aluminum trash rack will be installed (see attached picture, detail <br />under separate attachment). <br />• The top of the trash rack will have an aluminum bar grid with 6 "x6" bar spacing. <br />Bent Support Replacement <br />• The existing bent support underneath the horizontal outlet pipe (barrel) will be removed and <br />disposed off -site. <br />• A new pressure treated 8 "x8" will be installed in the same location. <br />Siphon System <br />$1,335.00 <br />• Up to two 4" siphons will be installed to lower the pond level (if required).
