Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendments: In accordance with the provisions of <br />Section 2.8 Zoning Atlas and Unified Development Ordinance Amendments of the Unified <br />Development Ordinance, the Planning Director has initiated amendments to the Unified <br />Development Ordinance (UDO) to modify subdivision review processes, in accordance with <br />Session Law 2017-10. The following Sections of the UDO are proposed for amendments: <br /> <br />2.14 Minor Subdivisions <br />7.2 Classification of Subdivisions <br /> <br />The purpose of the amendments is to incorporate recent changes in State law relating to the <br />processing of subdivisions. <br /> <br />The Orange County Planning Board, at its May 2, 2018 regular meeting, voted unanimously to <br />recommend approval of the proposed text amendments. The following Sections of the UDO are proposed for amendments: <br /> <br />2.7.5 Special Use Permits – Neighborhood Information Meeting <br />2.9.1 (D) Conditional Use District – Neighborhood Information Meeting <br />2.9.2 (D) Conditional Zoning District – Neighborhood Information Meeting <br />5.10 8 (B) (2) Balloon Test – Telecommunication Facilities – Class B Special Use Permits <br /> <br />The purpose of the amendments is to amend the timeframe for holding of neighborhood <br />information meetings, eliminating confusion on the required time frame, and ensuring uniformity <br />within the UDO. <br /> <br />The Orange County Planning Board, at its May 2, 2018 regular meeting, voted unanimously to <br />recommend approval of the proposed text amendments.
