DRAFT LETTER <br />To Whom It May Concern at Drug Free Communities Support Program: <br />The County Commissioners of Orange County, North Carolina submit this letter in support of the <br />application of The Community Backyard fora 2005 Drug Free Communities Support Program grant. <br />We are encouraged by the work of The Community Backyard and its Coalition to Reduce Underage <br />Alcohol and Drug Use are pursuing. We support the Coalition's efforts to develop two Committees <br />around the school systems in our County and to engage fully all those who have an impact on the <br />environment in which we are raising our young people, We believe that participation in the <br />Coalition's work to educate our community about the risks and consequences of underage drinking <br />and drug use will result in new policies and practices that will benef t the entire community.
