L <br />(2) Reappoint one (1) current member who has completed his eligible terms, to a final <br />12 -month extension, as permitted by the advisory board's guidelines. This individual has <br />agreed to continue serving if reappointed, and has had an active role in advising the Board of <br />County Commissioners, the Orange County Manager's Office and the Orange County Economic <br />Development office with the ongoing consultant SWOT Analysis of the three economic <br />development districts (EDDs) and CITAN nodes. His continued board service is important to <br />assisting the County with the SWOT analysis recommendations. <br />Mr. Mark O'Neal (commercial broker with Pickett - Sprouse Real Estate) who fills one <br />of the advisory board's core business sector positions. He is also a member of the <br />Economic Development Department's sub - committee that reviews applications for the <br />Orange County Small Business Investment Grant program. <br />(3) Appoint two (2) new members to initial terms beginning on 7/1/18. <br />This action will replace outgoing members in order to fill two recent vacancies. <br />• Ms. Barbara Jessie -Black (Executive Director of the PTA Thrift Shop), who is <br />recommended to fill the advisory board's vacant non - profit sector position. <br />• Mr. John Morris (Owner & President of Morris Commercial), who is recommended to <br />fill one of the advisory board's vacant core business sector positions. <br />Thank you for your considerations of these recommended advisory board actions. <br />Sincerely, <br />Steve Brantley <br />Director, Orange County Economic evelopment <br />131 W.
