Health Director Report <br /> <br />Ms. Stewart recapped her director’s report. Commissioner Burroughs commended Ms. Stewart <br />for her attendance to the BOCC meetings and informed her that it was appreciated. Ms. <br />Stewart replied that it’s a great learning opportunity. In response to Ms. Frega’s request for a <br />report on the upcoming Equity Summit in Chicago, Ms. Scurry stated that a report will take place <br />at the May meeting. <br /> <br />C. Media Items <br /> <br />Kristin Prelipp, Communications Manager, briefly reviewed the article topics included in <br />the Media Items packet. Media items were in the packet which focused on Orange <br />County’s events and our involvement in various efforts. <br /> <br /> <br />VIII. Board Comments <br /> <br />Ms. Elmore thanked those that serving on the Fluoride committee. She also informed the <br />BOH that she will not be attending the BOH meeting next month as she will be out of the <br />country on business. <br /> <br /> <br />IX.
