BOCC approved the following <br />recommendations: <br />1. Mobile Home Park Improvement and Expansion <br />Program (Short Term) <br /> Orange County establishes a loan program for <br />mobile home park owners to improve and/ or <br />expand their existing park <br />2. Repair and/or Replacement Program Component <br />(Short Term) <br /> Orange County establishes, with local funds, a <br />repair and/ or replacement program <br />component for residents living in a mobile <br />home, whether rental or owner-occupied <br />3. Mobile Home Park Development (Long Term) <br /> Orange County uses designated funds to <br />pursue the development of a mobile home <br />park and/ or mixed housing development on <br />an undeveloped parcel. <br />4. Greene Tract (Long Term) <br /> Orange County, the Town of Chapel Hill, and <br />the Town of Carrboro elected officials and <br />staff continue to explore affordable housing <br />opportunities on the Greene Tract, with a <br />focus on alternatives for displaced mobile <br />home park residents and utilization of a <br />portion of the Greene Tract <br />• Durham-Orange Light Rail Transit Project: <br />1.
