Frances Dilts Wescott: Writer, Editor, Strategic Communications <br />I am a versatile writer and strategic thinker with skill in distilling complex data and — from that <br />data — crafting compelling, well- organized messages appropriate to multiple audiences, formats <br />and platforms. With a background in service to the public sector -- writing for both public <br />television as well as for employee and volunteer trainings and other technical, internal <br />communications — I am well - positioned to edit and organize existing technical documents for <br />use among a broader constituency. <br />II. Services Offered <br />Reporting to: <br />Corey Root, Homeless Programs Coordinator <br />Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness <br />200 S. Cameron Street, PO Box 8181 <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br />(919) 245 -2496 <br />I propose to work with the Homeless Programs Coordinator of the Orange County Partnership <br />to End Homelessness ( OCPEH) to edit the existing iteration of the HUD - required Written <br />Standards into a document that makes the Partnership's scope of service, standards of service <br />and entry process more transparent and understandable — both for partnering organizations <br />and their leadership communities, as well as for prospective clients. <br />Additionally, I will compose a one -page document that specifically delineates for both service <br />providers and prospective clients the core purpose of the HOME Committee, how it functions <br />(meeting and reporting specifics) and how its work is directly related to services for the <br />Partnership's clients. This second document may also include the incorporation of existing <br />infographics. <br />III. Timeline for Services <br />A. Working from notes taken during conference with the OCPEH Coordinator and <br />requested edits received from partnering organizations, I will <br />• Edit the existing 15 -page document to reflect changes made by Coordinator and <br />partnering organizations <br />• Make additional changes to the text <br />• Propose reorganization of select portions of document <br />• Map out location and propose necessary context of visual elements to be provided <br />by third -party graphic designer <br />This first phase of work should be done by or before 4 weeks after contract signature <br />B. Providing the Coordinator at least ten business days to review this first draft, any <br />additional edits and /or changes will be handed back to me for final consideration in a <br />second iteration. I will incorporate edits and propose final additions and changes. <br />This second phase of work should be done by or before 7 weeks after contract <br />signature <br />
