The land is in a mixed -use development and the purchase price is $62,500 /acre ($93,750 total). Orange County also has money budgeted for the new justice facility expansion that can be used for the match for improvements at that site. Orange County will supply the local match for OPT operations through the county's yearly budgeting process as indicated in attached resolution.. The Town of Hillsborough has also agreed to participate in the local match, but the exact amount has not been agreed upon. Hillsborough has also agreed to participate in a marketing campaign for the transit service. Match for operating expenses is discussed below. 8. For agencies seeking operating assistance, how will the program be funded after year three? Orange County will supply the local match for OPT operations through the county's yearly budgeting process as indicated in attached resolution. Orange County anticipates that ridership on the proposed service will increase OPT ridership and, therefore, farebox collections.
