I also work in behavioral health in partnership with the North Carolina Statewide <br />Telepsychiatry Program and have participated in several statewide taskforces and workgroups <br />on population health, community health assessments, mental health, Medicaid, and quality <br />improvement. <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />I have a deep appreciation for improving public health and for the citizens of Orange County. <br />Joining the Board of Health has become of more interest to me in the past year or so since I was <br />elected to the Hillsborough Town Board of Commissioners and have become involved with more <br />and more county-level responsibilities as a byproduct of being on the Town Board.
