<br /> <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />ACTION AGENDA ITEM ABSTRACT <br /> Meeting Date: May 15, 2018 <br /> Action Agenda <br /> Item No. 8-f <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Change in BOCC Regular Meeting Schedule for 2018 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT: County Commissioners <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENT (S): <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> INFORMATION CONTACT: <br /> Donna Baker, 245-2130, Clerk to the <br />Board <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />PURPOSE: To consider one change to the Board of Commissioners’ regular meeting calendar <br />for 2018. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County <br />Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in <br />the Regular Meeting Schedule: <br /> <br />• To add a Transit Oriented Development Meeting, Thursday, June 21, 2018 from <br />7:00pm-9:00pm in the Durham County Government Administrative Complex, 2nd <br />floor, Commissioners' Chambers, 200 East Main Street, Durham, NC 27701. <br /> <br />FINANACIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with considering a meeting <br />calendar change. <br /> <br />SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal impact associated <br />with considering a meeting calendar change. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board amend its regular meeting <br />calendar for 2018: <br /> <br />• To add a Transit Oriented Development Meeting, Thursday, June 21, 2018 from <br />7:00pm-9:00pm in the Durham County Government Administrative Complex, 2nd <br />floor, Commissioners' Chambers, 200 East Main Street, Durham, NC 27701. <br /> <br /> <br />1
