(1) To facilitate construction of a classroom addition in 1969, approximately 10.81 acres of School Board
<br />property was leased to the State of North Carolina (UNC) for 50 years. Additionally, 5.25 acres was
<br />conveyed to UNC to construct and operate the FP Graham Child Development Center.
<br />(2) An additional 16.62 acres are leased from UNC and used by the School District and Town of Carrboro
<br />for three athletic fields and six tennis courts.
<br />(3) 15,369 square feet of space at Lincoln Center is leased to the Town of Chapel Hill for use by Head Start
<br />and Parks and Recreation. 54,683 square feet is used by school district administrative staff, maintenance,
<br />and food services. 2,880 square feet is used by Phoenix Academy.
