BACKGROUND: The CHTPEC Master Plan Work Group will develop a Master Plan for the Chapel Hill Township Park and Educational Campus. There are 23 positions on this Work Group. Fifteen positions are appointed by the BOCC; two by the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School Board; two by the Town of Carrboro; three by the Town of Chapel Hill; and one by the Orange County School Board. Appointments were first made to the CHTPEC Work Group on June 27, 2002. However, the Chapel Hill Greenways Commission did not make an appointment at that time. The Greenways Commission met recently and appointed Mr. Joe Herzenberg to serve on the CHTPEC Work Group, for a term to expire June 30, 2003.
