This approval wilt be granted by the <br />Authority after is has received notification of approval <br />by the various regulatory agencies. <br />E. Construction <br />The public main shall not be less than eight (S) <br />inches in diameter, must be laid to line and grade, with <br />manholes at any change of line and grade of the sever <br />and in no case more than 400' apart, and in all other <br />respects meet the specifications used by the Authority <br />for construction of sewer lines. <br />Any addition to the system must extend to the appli- <br />cant's property with adequate provisions including <br />easements, rights-oE-way, etc. for laterals or exten- <br />sions as required to support future development and <br />extension of the system. <br />Extension of sewer mains shall be performed by as <br />independent contractor under contract to the Authority <br />or to the applicant complying with the Authority's <br />Standards and Specifications for Water Distributions and <br />Wastewater Collections Systems with all work subject to <br />inspection and approval by the Chief Engineer or his <br />authorized agent. <br />If in the judgment of the Chief Engineer there is <br />demonstrated lack of competent supervision of a contrac- <br />tor, the Chief Engineer may, upon approval. of the Execu- <br />tive Director (1) halt work until approved supervision <br />is obtained and the work. performed in accordance with <br />approved specifications, or (2) provide constant con- <br />struction observation by Authority personnel at the <br />expense of the applicant. <br />The applicant is solely responsible for the design <br />and construction of the project. The applicant may be <br />required to modify, rearrange or redo any work to bring <br />it in conformity with the Authori.ty's Standards and <br />Specifications. Construction observation by the Author- <br />ity does not imply supervision and/or acceptance of the <br />work. <br />F. Rights-Of-Way <br />Sewer mains will be installed only in dedicated <br />streets, roadways, or rights-of-way secured by encroach- <br />ments or recorded easements or license. Applicant for <br />
