The voters understand federal support payments, but <br />they also want conservation benefits; plus the farmers are <br />willing to provide conservation benefits. With such strong <br />support for agricultural conservation, policymakers should <br />triple conservation spending in the next farm bill," Grossi <br />pointed out. "The programs are there, and they work.
