Orange County Ag. Extension Chairman <br />11. 'Orange County Ag. Extension Livestock Agent <br />12. Member, Orange County Board of Commissioners (or their designee) <br />13.. Orange High School Ag. faculty member * * * ** <br />necessarily <br />* Must be an active (though not /full -time) Orange County livestock <br />producer. To be elected by a vote of Orange County livestock <br />producers; vote to be monitored like''an ASCS or referendum vote. <br />** Must be an active (though not necessarily full -time) Orange County <br />horticulture producer. To be elected by a vote of Orange County <br />horticulture producers; vote to be monitored like an ASCS or <br />referendum vote. <br />* *.* Must be an active agricultural producer in Orange County. The <br />following may vote for this office: a. agricultural producers <br />in Orange County (certified by either ASCS or Ag. Ext. Service); <br />b. stock/bond holders of the Orange County Livestock /Horticulture <br />Market /Rural Education Center; or c. sell or buy livestock <br />(at least 1 animal unit) at Orange County Market at least 5 times <br />during calendar year, or sell over $100 produce 8 or more times <br />during calendar year. <br />* * ** An open /public seat; may be held by ag. related businessman, etc., <br />and does not have to be an Orange County resident. Election <br />proceedure the same as for * ** above. <br />* * * ** Appointed by the Orange High School Principal. <br />1. The Executive Committee will have 5 members elected from among <br />the Board of Directors by the Board of Directors. It will incluc <br />the Board's Chair, Vice - chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and one at <br />large member. Officers of the Board and the Executive Committee <br />will be *elected every year. <br />2. The Board of Directors will serve without compensation. <br />3. The Board of Directors will meet at least Quarterly, and more <br />often, if necessary. <br />4. Eight elected members of the Board will serve 2 year terms, with <br />4* being elected in alternate years. One elected member will ser, <br />a 3 year term. <br />-more- <br />
