<br />that will help attract additional agri -bio
<br />ventures to Scotland County. Funds will
<br />train workers in specialized areas including
<br />product development, safety, quality
<br />management and process engineering.

<br />handlers, machine operators, mail sorters,
<br />lift truck operators and clerical personnel.

<br />Project The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is
<br />to support Pamlico Community College
<br />in training local businesses to market,
<br />manufacture, install and maintain
<br />affordable, environmentally friendly and
<br />permittabie wastewater treatment
<br />systems in eastern NC. The project will
<br />utilize proven technology (ReCip),
<br />created by TVA, which treats wastewater
<br />sufficiently to allow permitting where a
<br />septic system cannot be used.
