<br />Potomac Watershed Partnership Coordi-
<br />nator, Potomac Conservancy (VA) - This
<br />position will administer, implement, and
<br />promote the new Potomac Watershed
<br />Partnership (PWP) Large -scale Watershed
<br />Restoration Project, a partnership of federal
<br />and state government and private conserva-
<br />tion groups. The Coordinator will facilitate
<br />communication between partners; develop
<br />outreach and communication tools; assist in
<br />fund raising; provide technical assistance,
<br />and program and financial management;
<br />represent PWP in varied settings; and
<br />evaluate, interpret, and synthesize
<br />information to guide activities. Require-
<br />ments: degree in related field; proven
<br />project management experience; ability to
<br />work effectively with diverse constituents;
<br />excellent communication skills; willingness
<br />to travel throughout the watershed; high
<br />energy professional with commitment to
<br />protecting the Potomac River and its
<br />landscape through public /private initiatives.

<br />Land (CO) - This position, located in
<br />Denver, assists the Colorado team in
<br />preserving critical open space utilizing
<br />nonprofit land acquisition, public finance and
<br />planning techniques by performing project
<br />research, program administration and
<br />coordination. Responsibilities include:
<br />assisting program staffing all phases of
<br />public finance projects, including research,
<br />polling, public outreach and campaign
<br />implementation: providing research of land
<br />ownership, land use, legal, political, and
<br />economic issues associated with land
<br />acquisition projects; coordinating grassroots
<br />support for projects; and providing overall
<br />help to the Colorado team. Qualifications:
<br />Industrious and independent worker; good
<br />judgment; bachelor's degree; two years
<br />experience; familiarity with Colorado land
<br />use issues, communities, and governments;
<br />superior written and verbal communications
<br />skills; political campaign experience a plus.
