<br />DELAWARE DEPARTMENT OFAGRICULTURE
<br />Expert level in a broad area of planning requiring the highest level of technical
<br />expertise. This position involves review of land development projects for
<br />compatibility with comprehensive land use plans and agricultural and /or rural
<br />community planning. Experience in the use of GIS preferred. Applicants must
<br />have education, training and /or experience demonstrating competence in each of
<br />the following areas: 1. Responsibility for a most complex planning project
<br />(complexity to be determined by variables such as discipline, population, fiscal
<br />impact, geographic area, social impact, planning horizon, public involvement,
<br />research and analysis, and the nature of the project team). 2. Experience as a
<br />Subject Matter Expert by demonstrating knowledge in the review of land
<br />development projects. 3. A minimum of three years experience as a planner or
<br />three years experience performing planning functions. 4. Ability to communicate
<br />effectively.
<br />Salary: $47,102 - $58,877 (Minimum — Midpoint) Pay grade 17
