Successful completion of Permaculture <br />Fundamentals is required before taking this <br />class. A certificate in Permaculture Design <br />is awarded to students who successfully <br />complete both courses. Offered Wednes- <br />days, 6:00 -9:00 PM, 9/12/01 to 11/21/01 (2 <br />afternoon field trips are planned). <br />Water for Farm, Home and Village: The <br />class will cover on -site methods for obtain- <br />ing drinking water, irrigation water, and fil- <br />tering wastewater. Topics covered include <br />rainwater harvesting, water purifying, pond <br />building, irrigation, aquaculture, well drill- <br />ing, greywater treatment, water pumping <br />and spring protection. Class will take place <br />at Sustenance Farm in Bear Creek.
