All work must be sequenced and planned <br />to coordinate with court schedules and requirements. <br /> <br />• Historic Courthouse Square - $20,000 (p. 38) <br />o Engineering and Design <br />o Exterior Renovation, Structure and Foundation Work in FY2019-21 - $630,000 <br /> <br />Commissioner Price said to give outside groups notification about this process, as <br />many of them use the exterior space. <br /> <br />• HVAC Projects - $142,000 (page 35) <br />Project Description/Justification: Funding of $142,000 in FY2018-19 is for HVAC <br />improvements/replacements. The Year 2 controls upgrade request resulted from the <br />technology advancement made available to the County in spring FY16-17. This replaces our <br />current control system that will not be supported by the vendor after 2019. <br /> <br />• Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning - $142,000 (p. 35 <br />o Air Conditioning at Motor Pool <br />o Replace Equipment at Emergency Services Radio Tower <br /> <br />• Roofing and Building Façade Projects - $369,800 (page 42) <br />Project Description/Justification: This project is a combination of building roof replacements <br />and building façade repairs. The Roof Asset Management Plan was updated in FY 2016-17. <br />Building envelope/facade systems include exterior walls, cladding, windows, doors, <br />foundations and associated components. The purpose of this project is to provide resources <br />for systematic operation and identification of any remedial action that may be needed in order <br />to cost-effectively maximize the useful life of the building envelopes of County facilities. Any <br />needed remedial activity would be listed and prioritized via a building envelope/façade study <br />initially being requested in FY2018-19. FY 2018-19 funding includes the comprehensive facility <br />facade study as well as needed attention at the Central Recreation Building, AMS North Motor <br />Pool Facility, and the John Link Jr. Government Services Center. This facade study will inform <br />the long-range facade plan. <br /> <br />• Roofing and Building Façade Projects - $369,800 (p. 42) <br />o Façade Needs Assessment and Condition Study - $22,000 <br />o Repairs at Central Recreation ($45,000), Motor Pool ($152,800), and Link <br />Building ($150,000) <br /> <br />• Vehicle Replacements - $689,328 (page 45) <br />Project Description/Justification: Funding of $689,328 includes replacement of several public <br />safety related vehicles. Funds of $700,000 in the subsequent years includes replacement of <br />various vehicles county-wide. <br /> <br />• Vehicle Replacements - $689,328 (p. 45) <br />o Seven (7) Sheriff Patrol Vehicles <br />o Two (2) Sheriff Transport Vehicles <br />o One (1) Animal Services Vehicle Remount <br />o Two (2) Emergency Services Ambulance Remounts <br /> <br />
