<br />Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks, and Recreation
<br />2. The Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation anticipates
<br />$12,301 in additional revenue, from a special camp held at New Hope Elementary, in
<br />collaboration with the Health Department and the Family Success Alliance. These
<br />funds will be used to cover seasonal staff cost associated with the camp. This budget
<br />amendment provides for the receipt of these funds for the above stated purpose.

<br />The fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race or
<br />color; religious or philosophical beliefs; sex, gender or sexual orientation; national
<br />origin or ethnic background; age; military service; disability; and familial, residential
<br />or economic status.
<br />Department on Aging
<br />3. The Department on Aging anticipates additional revenue for:
<br />a. Fitness Studio: receipt of an additional $3,500 from fees and donations in
<br />support of the instructors and supplies.
<br />b. Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA) — receipt
<br />of $2,940 from the N.C. Department of Insurance, through the Triangle J Area
<br />Agency on Aging. These funds will be used for outreach and services
<br />available through the SHIIP and low income subsidy programs.
<br />c. Facility Fees: receipt of an additional $2,000 from facility fees to help offset
<br />the cost of temporary personnel staffing the sites during the rental periods.
