33 <br />What are the concerns or emerging issues your board has identified for the upcoming <br />year that it plans to address, or wishes to bring to the Commissioners' attention? <br />• The committee will focus on quality of life for residents in Orange County <br />nursing homes and will look at ways to improve quality of life. <br />• Orange County continues to have facilities with high staff turnover and <br />management vacancies which may lead to difficulty providing basic care. <br />• The ability of nursing homes to implement the Emergency Preparedness <br />Program as required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. <br />
