Additions or Changes to the Agenda 24 <br />Chair Dorosin said people have signed up to speak on item 8-d, and he suggested 25 <br />moving this item to after 4-a. 26 <br /> 27 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Price to 28 <br />move item 8-d to after 4-a. 29 <br /> 30 <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS 31 <br /> 32 <br />PUBLIC CHARGE 33 <br />Chair Dorosin dispensed with the public charge. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Arts Moment 36 <br />Tom Hoke, Arts Commission Chair, introduced the Arts Moment: 37 <br />The 2016-18 Hillsborough Poet Laureate William Davis, who goes by the performance name 38 <br />“Endlesswill", is a spoken word artist dedicated to continuing the tradition of poetry in living 39 <br />form. His most recent poetry collection, Broken Perception, is largely autobiographical, 40 <br />exploring the themes of utilizing lessons of the past to positively shape one’s future and the 41 <br />complexities of the human condition. The first twenty-five poems in the book can be found in 42 <br />audio form on a CD also titled Broken Perception. 43 <br /> 44 <br />William Davis is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He studied world history, and early 45 <br />childhood education at Ferris State University. He is a father of five wonderful, artistic, and 46 <br />sports involved children. He and his partner Catherine Stanley enjoy planning writing activities, 47 <br />family book clubs, and riding bikes together. 48 <br /> 49 <br />William Davis read two of his poems. 50
