18 <br /> <br />Project Description/Justification: Funding in FY 2018-19, FY 2020-21, and FY 2022-23 1 <br />includes $100,000 in each fiscal year for replacement and upgrades of fitness equipment. 2 <br />Based on industry standards, heavy use commercial cardio equipment has a useful life of 3 <br />approximately 3 years. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Sportsplex – Pool 6 <br />Project Description/Justification: Funding in FY 2018-19 includes $20,000 for a comprehensive 7 <br />Natatorium study (re-allocated from a project funded from operations) as well as $80,000 as a 8 <br />contingency to replace the compressors on one of the two major pool HVAC systems that are 9 <br />experiencing premature end of life failure. Funding in FY 2018-19 also includes $12,000 for 10 <br />handicap pool lifts to complement the handicap ramp currently in place as a result of more 11 <br />users with disabilities using both pools. Funding in FY 2019-20 includes $50,000 for boilers 12 <br />and pumps repair/replacement, and FY 2021-22 includes a total of $90,000 for replacement 13 <br />and upgrade of the pool lane timer/scoreboard, additional boiler and pumps 14 <br />repair/replacement, and repairs to the pool plaster and tile. Phase 3 includes an upgrade to a lift station and connection to a different force 47 <br />main. The project will extend under the interstate to the D3 area to the north as shown on the 48 <br />project map from prior work in Phase 2. This 200+ acre area of the County has been 49 <br />designated an Economic Development District and is one of the few areas with rail access. 50
