NCDOT Petition Information for Little <br />Doe Lane in Buckhorn Ridge <br />Subdivision <br />INFORMATION CONTACT: <br />Abigaile Pittman, 245 -2567 <br />Tom Altieri, 245 -2579 <br />Craig Benedict, 245 -2592 <br />PURPOSE: To make a recommendation to the North Carolina Department of Transportation <br />( NCDOT), and the North Carolina Board of Transportation (NC BOT), concerning a petition to <br />add Little Doe Lane in Buckhorn Ridge Subdivision to the State Maintained Secondary Road <br />System. <br />BACKGROUND: This request includes a petition for one (1) road addition to the State <br />Maintained Secondary Road System. The road and its respective length and width are as <br />follows: <br />Buckhorn Ridge Subdivision <br />Buckhorn Ridge Subdivision is located off Yarborough Road (State Road 1138) in the western <br />part of the county, east of Mebane Oaks Road and west of Buckhorn Road, in Cheeks Township <br />(Attachment 1). The major subdivision was approved on October 11, 2001. The single family <br />residential subdivision is located within Orange County's planning jurisdiction and was <br />developed and approved subject to the County's zoning and subdivision regulations. There is no <br />known subdivision violation associated with the subdivision. <br />The final plat for the subdivision was recorded on October 22, 2001 (Attachment 2).
