BACKGROUND: At its March 21 Meeting the OUTBoard reviewed the Staff's draft Table of Contents for the OUTBoard's orientation materials. The table of contents for Section 1, shown below, was approved by consensus. Section 1 - The OUTBoard: Introduction and Governing Documents • Introduction to the OUTBoard • OUTBoard Members (link to Roster) • Transit Advisory Services (TAS) role • OUTBoard's Role in Transportation Planning Processes and Requirements • Orange County Advisory Board Policy (link) • OUTBoard Rules and Procedures (Purpose, Charge, Membership Criteria, Meeting Schedule, Subcommittees, etc.) (link) Orientation information for Section 1 is provided in Attachments 1 -6. Format As discussed at the March 21 meeting, the orientation materials will be available online, on the Transportation section of the Planning Department's web page. The materials will be included in a large pdf file, with sub -files bookmarked as separate pdfs. Links will also be provided within the pdf sections to materials that are already provided elsewhere and /or regularly updated by other agencies, such as NCDOT and the MPOs /RPO. In this way, information is uniformly and accurately updated by the responsible agency. Additional links 17
