3 <br />EDC and Cooperative Extension for the Agricultural Element., For coordination with the Land <br />Use Element and inter - relationships with the proposed chapters, Planning staff and Planning <br />Board representatives would also be invited to participate, <br />The Parks Chapter update to the 1988 Parks Element would be consistent with the <br />ongoing Recreation and Parks Strategic Management Plan, and many of this reports' <br />ultimate conclusions or products would be easily incorporated into the Parks Chapter. <br />A possible outline of the Parks Chapter is also included as an attachment. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with the proposed process. <br />The work is proposed to be accomplished in -house by County staff, The undertaking would <br />involve a substantial amount of staff time, primarily from ERCD, but also from Recreation and <br />Parks, Planning and other departments, <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board consider the proposed <br />process and provide feedback to staff, as desired. If this process and timetable is <br />acceptable, the Board may wish to authorize the Clerk to begin soliciting for potential <br />appointments to the proposed Natural and Cultural Element Oversight Committee, <br />
