MINUTES <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF SOCIAL SERVICES <br />December 16, 2017 <br />2 <br />2.Emergency Solutions GrantPolicies <br />Suzanne Hitt asked the Board to approve two policies related to the Emergency Solutions Grant. <br />The grant was awarded to the agency again for FY2017-18. <br />Tamara Dempsey-Tanner moved that the policies be approved with noted updates. Pat Garavaglia <br />seconded the motion. The motion was carried without dissent. <br />3.Director’s Report <br />Orange County has passed the Medicaid Report Card for every month so far this fiscalyear. <br />Nancy Coston presented on HB630to the Board of County Commissioners.Staff are drafting a <br />letter opposing mandatory regionalization for Social Services agencies. <br />4.Executive Session <br />On a motion by Tamara Dempsey-Tanner the Board moved into Executive Session pursuant to § <br />143 318.11(a)(1) referencing § 7B-2901.Pat Garavaglia seconded the motion. The motion was <br />carriedwithout dissent. <br /> <br />VII. Announcements <br />Tamara Dempsey-Tannermoved to adjourn the meeting at 1:14pm.Ann Wilkerson seconded the motion.
