<br /> 39 <br /> <br />Figure 30 <br />Within CHCCS: <br /> In 2014 – 2015, across all end of grade and end of course test results, 42% of African American <br />students and 47% of Latino students achieved the bare minimum performance of grade level <br />proficiency, compared to 90% proficiency of white students, shown in figure 30. <br /> <br /> Across all grades from 2013 to 2015, only 25% - 35% of students of color were considered on track <br />to be college/career ready. <br /> <br /> In 2013 – 2014 school year, African Americans students were sent to the office 3 times more <br />frequently than their white peers, and were suspended 8 times more often. <br /> <br /> White students and students of color are disciplined differently for the same infractions. <br /> <br /> In Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools access of African American and Latino students to gifted <br />programming is limited.
