Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br />The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporate by reference, to release motor vehicle <br />property tax values for five taxpayers with a total of five bills that will result in a reduction of <br />revenue in accordance with NCGS. <br />c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br />The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release property tax <br />values for seven taxpayers with a total of twelve bills that will result in a reduction of revenue in <br />accordance with North Carolina General Statute 105-381. <br />d. Appointment of County Review Officers <br />The Board approved and authorized the Chair to sign the resolution appointing Deborah <br />Blaylock, Kimberly P. Cecil and Dawn B. Perry to be Review Officers for Orange County. <br />e. Major Subdivision Preliminary Plat Application – Morgan Ridge Subdivision <br />The Board reviewed and took action on a Major Subdivision Preliminary Plat application. The <br />majority of the land area encompassing the project is located within Chatham County’s <br />planning jurisdiction while the proposed roadway access point is within Orange County. <br />f. Planning Document Amendment Outline Form – Efland-Buckhorn-Mebane Area <br />Access Management Plan Update <br />The Board voted to initiate an update to the Efland-Buckhorn-Mebane Access Management <br />Plan. <br /> <br />9. County Manager’s Report <br /> <br />Bonnie Hammersley said there is an information item on the CIP, and she reviewed <br />some of the highlights below: <br /> <br />Sportsplex: <br />This project is currently under construction and is anticipated to be complete in the summer of <br />2018.
