As a <br />member of the OPC LME Governing Board, this citizen will be charged with working with the <br />Orange-Person-Chatham LME to ensure mental health, development disability and substance <br />abuse services in Orange, Person and Chatham Counties. <br />Orange County is responsible for appointing one Orange County resident as an At-Large <br />appointee to serve on this Board. This appointee shall not be a close relative of any employee <br />of the OPC LIME. Also, no employees, consultants, contract providers, or employees of <br />contract providers are eligible for membership. The appointee will be serving an initial <br />appointment ending December 31, 2006. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making one new appointment to the OPC LME Governing Board, <br />as the Board may desire.
