The target population <br />consists of households earning at or below 80% of the <br />Area Median Income. <br />Empowerment <br />Rental Acquisition <br />Pine Knolls Neighborhood in <br />$145,000 <br />The acquisition of one 2- bedroom /1 bath unit located in <br />Chapel Hill <br />Chapel Hill, NC. The target population consists of <br />households earning at or below 80% of the area median <br />income. <br />Empowerment is leveraging $25,000 from the NC <br />Community Development Initiative. The total project <br />cost is $170,000, including needed repairs. <br />Habitat for Humanity <br />Second Mortgage Assistance <br />Fairview Community in <br />$60,000 <br />Habitat proposes to use funds as second mortgage <br />Hillsborough and the Tinnin <br />assistance for two (2) newly constructed homes in the <br />Woods Subdivision in Efland <br />identified communities in Orange County. <br />Inter -Faith Council for Social Service (IFC) <br />Rapid Re- Housing and General Tenant -Based Rental <br />Countywide <br />$25,000 <br />Assistance <br />IFC will use funds for the Rapid Re- Housing or other <br />rental assistance program, which helps families <br />experiencing homelessness move into permanent <br />housing. IFC will assist twenty -five individuals earning at <br />or below 30% of the Area Median Income. <br />Orange County— Housing Rehabilitation <br />Single - Family Housing Rehabilitation <br />Countywide <br />$49,211 <br />The County will leverage HOME dollars to undertake <br />additional housing rehabilitation activities. <br />TOTAL <br />$339,211 <br />
